Temporal Millionaire (těm’pər-əl mĭl’yə-nâr’):
n. A person who is rich in time.
From Temporal Millionaire-issue #1:
In the last few months I have noticed that my time taking care of Eli (my son, now 2) is mostly filled with two minutes here and there, where I get to write or draw a picture. It’s far from the days of lengthy journal entries contemplating my world or drawing every branch of my favorite Oak tree, but it’s filled with a lot more time doing what I want and less time worrying about what I have to do. This is my zine. It’s written by a skeptical Florida resident who transplanted from the much loved city of Chicago, a mom who refuses to drive a minivan, a wife with progressive husband, a public school teacher on hiatus for a year, a drummer who finally got another reason to play, a 32 year old who likes to keep learning new things, and an artist who is drawing for you because Ed Emberley said I could draw the world, and I thought I’d try.
One year to be rich with time
One year to teach and learn
One year to live simply and draw freely
Temporal Millionaire is a perzine writen by Lisa M. Dalton. It was started in the fall of 2006.
