Finally a drawing for Illustration Friday again

I just moved to NY in July so this was the first thing that popped into my head when I thought of the Illustration Friday theme, visitors. That feeling that you are in someone elses house. Once you unload the boxes and make that call to your mom though, you’re home.

That is a great drawing – my hair kinda looks like that right now. LOL. I wonder what the “S” on her shirt stands for? Where were you before NY? I’m so nosey. LOL

The “s” is for Sunshine Sally. She was a character in a comic book I drew a while back.
I was in FL for the last 5 years, Chicago is where I grew up though.

Ahhh, then welcome to the Northeast! Glad to have you! Would love to hear all about Chicago and Florida. I’ve been to Disney in FL and would like to soon visit Chicago myself.

I commented on your photo on flickr but I like the way you draw the details that make it feel like home! like the outlet, lightbulb, tape on the boxes, etc. Great!

What a unique take on the topic! I’m impressed. And I, too, love the little details.
