I’m back…finally!

Thanks to those of you have still been visiting my site even though I wasn’t. I’ve been busy moving. Moving, as much as I planned for it still came up on me quickly and then the whirlwind of packing, closing, driving (FL to NY with two cats and one sweet boy), closing, unpacking, fixing, fixing, fixing and trying to live normally seemed to take up weeks without me even knowing what day it was…it’s been crazy. But, I’m back, and I’m drawing and making cool things again and will be updating you all on the ongoing fun as it happens right here!

hooray! I’m glad you’re back! I hope you’re feeling settled. I’d like to hear about your recent moving adventures and what you like about your new home/town/state!

I am almost settled. I can’t find the box with my sewing machine and I was almost done with a project when I left, and now it is on hold. But, thankfully the boxes are dwindling and I will soon stumble on the secret box and be back in business. Then I will be settled again. The beauty of moving though, is there is no fear that you have left something behind. It’s all here in my new house-just temporarily misplaced.
As for the actual move I felt victorous in getting my kid-o, my two kitties, my VW and my husband to their new home happily. It was three days of roadtrippin’ fun. It’s easy to travel when it just means taking care of yourself, but it takes a lot more planning to take care of everyone else too.
The home/town/state are all still being discovered so I’m sure I’ll have more to report. For now though, it’s so nice that I feel like I’m wearing rose colored glasses. My husband and I keep waiting for the spoiler because it just seems to good to be true.
I am officially poor but happy in NY.

It sounds like your move was rather smooth, even with all you were responsible for. How exciting, a new home, town, state, etc.! And it seems to me that if you’re happy you’re not poor.

You are right about that! I feel very lucky.
